Main Presentation - 7:00 pm - IEE 519 Standard Update- Jeff Miller
Main Presentation Highlights:
The Presentation will discuss IEEE 519 standard for harmonic distortion control in buildings. He will provide a short history of the standard’s evolution, and explain the practical application of the 2014 version. The discussion will be focused on practical methods to determine compliance and the different filtering technologies available for VFD’s, UPS system. Jeff will also cover the challenges and pitfalls that occur on projects and methods

JMB & Associates, LLC.
Jeff has been a part of JMB for the last 3 plus years as the General Manager, and as of January this year, completed the purchase of JMB & Associates. He has 30 years of experience in the HVAC and Drives Industry, starting his career with Danfoss / Graham as a Regional Manager in 1986. In 1998, he accepted a position at ABB as the Vice President of HVAC and in 2010 he was promoted to the Vice President of Medium & Low Voltage Drives, Motion and PLC Sales. Jeff has an electrical engineering and business degrees.
