President’s Message
All,
Welcome to a new ASHRAE year! I'm looking forward to being your new president and bringing you a great slate of ASHRAE events for the 2026-2027 year. In addition to our September 14th meeting discussing Dual Fuel Heat Pumps, we already have a few exciting things on the books, including another joint presentation in November with AIA and hosting the Chapter Regional Conference in April. See our future meetings calendar for more information.
Since I also serve as your Chapter's Young Engineers in ASHRAE chair, I would also like to encourage each of you to engage the younger engineers in your office and help them build their professional networks. Most of us wouldn’t be attending these meetings if our own mentors hadn't encouraged us to at some point.
As a group of volunteers, we hope that ASHRAE continues to be a beneficial addition to your career and constantly to try and bring you the most interesting and relevant information. I want to extend a huge thank you to those who keep giving their time to do this year after year. If you'd like to be a part of informing our programing this year or would like to get involved in any other way, please don't hesitate to reach out.
Hope to see you at an event this year!
Amanda Wendling
Madison ASHRAE Chapter President 2026-2027

Golf Outing
The 51st Madison ASHRAE Golf Outing was another great event. The tee boxes were full, meeting the capacity the committee was able to offer. The early start allowed for the heat to come later, but certainly assisted with the need for more "fluids". University Ridge Golf was again very accommodating, which will return to host the American Family outing next year.
